WSPN’S Joanna Barrow reported the Wayland School Committee’s decision to send K-5 students back to fully in-person school starting the week of April 5, and staff reporter Tess Alongi interviewed students who went on vacation over February break and discussed other students’ reasoning for not travelling.

WSPN’s Julia Raymond gave readers five prospective ways to help those suffering in Texas with the extreme cold.

“People are being found dead in their houses due to the extreme cold, and the problem is not going away,” Raymond said.

Staff reporter Nandhana Nair spoke with Artist of the Month, Alyssa Chow, and staff reporter Izzy Poole-Evans reviewed Miki Matsubara’s album, “Pocket Park.”

Nair also discussed the latest fashion trends with Fashionistas of the Month, Jack McCahan and Katie Schouten. Meanwhile, and Poole-Evans reviewed a video game, “Persona 5 Strikers“.

Broadcast:

Staff reporters Andrew Boyer and Sam White along with Spooner broadcasted a Half Hour Hook special where they drafted their NBA All-Star team, and WSPN’s Deirdre Brown along with staff reporters Jacqueline Cahaly and Ellie Smith spoke with WHS graduate Emma Dianni in their series, “Healthy Living.”

Meanwhile, editor Josh Schreiber with Likerman and Spooner recorded their fourth installment of the third season of “Wayland Sports Chat.” This week, they discussed some of the top stories around professional sports.
