Following winter break, WHS officially ends plastic bottle usage and returns to fully functioning water fountains. WHS principal Allyson Mizoguchi informed students about this decision on Tuesday, Jan. 3, confirming that the water fountains are safe to drink from.

This decision was made possible following three weeks of water testing by the DPW.

“The water situation has been resolved,” Mizoguchi wrote in her email to WHS. “The Town Water Department notified us over vacation that our drinking water is officially safe to consume, and our facilities staff has replaced all filters. Please bring your reusable water bottles from home and fill them up at the water stations.”
