Breaking news: Student executive board officer results and upcoming run-off election

The class officers were announced today, May 23.

On Thursday, March 23, the Wayland High School Student executive board officer positions for classes 2025 to 2027 were announced. Sophomores and freshmen placed their votes during all three lunches earlier today. The candidates for the class of 2025 ran unopposed.

The results for the Class of 2025 officer positions are as follows:
President: Armaan Chaudhry
Vice President: Emma Alongi
Treasurer: Tara Sawrikar
Secretary: Santiago Whelton

The candidates for the Class of 2026 officer positions are as follows:
President: Ben Hammond
Vice President: Kalena Imura
Treasurer: Miriam Qureshi
Secretary: Nathan Hartunian

There was a tie between freshmen Joey Fay and Lexi Roman for the position of vice president of the class of 2027. Due to this, there will be a run-off election on Friday, May 24. Instructions will be sent to the class of 2027 in an email.

The candidates for the Class of 2027 officer positions are as follows:
President: Max Rainville
Vice President: Joey Fay (decided through a run-off election)
Treasurer: Nate Yaffe
Secretary: Corrine Larsen
