Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

A car accident occurred this evening near Charena Road. Local authorities responded to the incident.

A car accident occurred this evening near end of Charena Road, right off of Old Connecticut Path on Monday. Local authorities responded to the incident. It was unclear how the accident occurred. At the scene, a grey minivan was crashed into a telephone pole. Some residents of Charena Road lost power due to the crash. For now, it is unclear whether anyone was harmed in this incident.
