Class of 2026 celebrates Halloween

On Friday, Oct. 31, the Class of 2026 celebrates Halloween by dressing up in costumes for the school day. Some students chose to participate in group costumes, while others decided to dress up alone. The day started with seniors gathering in the WHS parking lot to take photos with friends. There was also an extended advisory so seniors could partake in the annual “Monster Mash.” At the Monster Mash, students got to show off costumes and take additional photos. There was also candy and other refreshments available for the seniors to enjoy. Along with the seniors, some members of WHS staff chose to dress up for the day.

She also plays viola in the school orchestra and is a member of the Muses, one of the school’s a cappella groups. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, baking and going to the beach.

Daniella Xue, Class of 2029, is a first year reporter for WSPN. Daniella is a member of WHS’s cheer team. In her free time, she likes to read and play tennis with her friends and family.

Brandon Hill, Class of 2028, is a first year reporter for WSPN. Prior to being an official reporter, he was a guest writer for WSPN Club. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, doing photography and spending time with family and friends.

Isabella Jolon, Class of 2028 is a first year reporter for WSPN. Isabella plays softball for WHS in the spring, as well as violin in her free time. She also enjoys baking and cooking for her family.

Becket Todd, Class of 2029, is a first year reporter for WSPN. He is on the WHS alpine ski team in the winter, and in his free time, he loves to go on runs, play tennis, mountain bike and play chess.

Grace Zocco, Class of 2028, is the Co-Multimedia Editor, with a podcast focus. In her free time, she likes to go to concerts, play soccer for WHS and spend time with her family and friends.

Sofia Pazolli, Class of 2028, is a first year reporter for WSPN. Sofia is a member of WHS’s Varsity Mock Trial Team. Outside of school, Sofia enjoys practicing pilates, reading, spending time with family and friends and traveling.

Fiona Peltonen, Class of 2027, is the features editor for WSPN. She runs long distance outdoor track for WHS and volunteers at Newton Wellesley Hospital. In her free time, she likes to go for runs, spend time outside and hang out with friends.

Annabel Orcutt, Class of 2028, is a second year reporter and the sports and arts and entertainment copy editor. Annabel plays soccer on the junior varsity team, is on the WHS ski team and plays lacrosse in the spring. Outside of school, Annabel loves to travel, spend time with friends and read.
