Coming to the Wayland High School auditorium is WHS’s Theater Ensemble’s (WHSTE) adaptation to “Head Over Heels.”
“Head Over Heels” will take place on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 22, at 5:00 p.m.. Each show will take around 120 minutes, with an intermission in between.
“Head Over Heels” is a jukebox musical that follows the journey of a royal family. One of the unique aspects to the play is the music that features “The Go-Go’s.” The musical is meant to highlight gender and sexual identities, along with romantic and personal love. The play was created by Jeff Whitty and adapted by James Magruder.
Tickets are $12 for students and senior citizens and $20 for adults. Tickets can be purchased online or at all three WHS lunch periods.
