News Brief: WSPN wins CSPA Gold Crown award

WSPN wins second consecutive CSPA Gold Crown award on March 18, 2022.

On Friday, March 18, the Wayland Student Press Network won a CSPA Gold Crown award in the 2022 Crown Awards ceremony. The Crown Awards honor top student publications chosen from CSPA’s members. Crowns are selected for overall excellence in a head-to-head comparison. During Crown consideration, publications are judged on their excellence as shown by their design, photography, concept, coverage and writing. 817 total publications were eligible for judging.

Only 12 other publications were selected as Gold Crown recipients. This is the second consecutive year that WSPN has received a Gold Crown.
