In the round of 16 of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Division II boys soccer tournament, the boys varsity soccer team defeated Marblehead in overtime, 2-1, on Thursday, Nov. 7. Senior John Pordage scored both of Wayland’s goals. The team’s next playoff match is against Mansfield, away at Mansfield High School on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 4:30 p.m.. Wayland is seeded No. 7, while Mansfield is seeded No. 2 in the rankings.
