The girls varsity basketball team took a loss to Westford Academy on Friday, Jan. 3 at the WHS field house. The game ended with a final score of 21-55. After the Westford game, the team played against Algonquin Regional High School and lost by 28 points. The team’s next game is on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. at Bedford High School.

Taking a deep breath, senior captain Annie McQuilkin sets herself at the free throw line to take her shot. "I was proud of how we competed because they were a good team," McQuilkin said "We had a lot of turnovers, so I [think a] lot of us had off games."
