Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

Girls hockey drops close game to Hopkinton

The Wayland/Weston girls ice hockey team lost 3-2 to Hopkinton on Monday, Jan. 13. The teams were tied up until 52 seconds left in the third period, where Hopkinton scored to win the game in the final moments.
