On Wednesday, Jan. 28, Honors Wind Ensemble and Sinfonia Orchestra performed in the auditorium, which was conducted by orchestra director Susan Memoli. Honors Wind Ensemble and Sinfonia Orchestra are instrumental groups under the Fine Arts Department, which focuses on performing at events and concerts to showcase their skills. The ensembles often feature performances, including soloists and a diverse musical selection. They performed “La Folia” by Arcangelo Corelli and “Bad Piggies” by Ilmari Hakkola, arranged by senior David Ryu. They also performed “Devil’s Nightmare” by Oxide & Neutrino. “This particular program had the opportunity to highlight a lot of different kids,” Memoli said. “It was just really fun to see everybody have a moment to shine [in our] very brief performance due to the [busy] schedule.”
