On November 4th, all of America will be getting off of their sofas and into their SUVs and hybrids and driving to their nearest voting center to place a vote for the President of the United States.
But at the same time, Massachusetts residents will be placing a vote on an issue of their own brought to the ballot by an initiative (this is a petition): Question 1, to eliminate State income tax.
The proposal states that the income tax would be reduced for everyone to 2.65% by January 1st, 2009 and eliminated entirely by January 1st, 2010.

Passing this question would take some of the financial pressure that an Obama presidency would put on people in towns like Wayland. Yes all the way.
