Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

Breaking News: Teacher slips on puddle caused by ceiling leak

Above, a custodian attempts to fix the ceiling leak in the English wing. This morning, a teacher slipped on a puddle formed by the leak.

A teacher slipped on a puddle in the English wing this morning. The puddle was caused by a leaking heating valve in the ceiling. Administration suspects that the leak began this past weekend, but they did not know about the leak until this morning.

“She was able to walk out of school on her own,” Scott Parseghian, Dean of Students, said.
