Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

Student-Faculty basketball game to be held Tuesday

The Class of 2016 will be selling tickets this Tuesday for the first Student-Faculty basketball game.
Tuesday, Nov. 12, the first Student-Faculty basketball game will be held in the field house at 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold by the Class of 2016 Tuesday during all lunches for $5. Student council will be selling food and drinks during the game.

The faculty team includes Edmund DeHoratius, Matt Daniels, Michael Hopps, Eric Wolven, Dana Sharry, Jeffrey Blue, William Cobb and Amanda Cosenza. The student team includes Lucas Bagel, Evan Brisson, Robert Willliams, Alex VanRooyen, Emma Simches, Elizabeth Jenny, Oliver Chin, Bronwyn Davies, Daly Place, Andrew Straube, Joey Luchetti and Jonathan Eng.
