The boys’ alpine ski team finished their season recently by winning the Dual County League. According to senior captain Aaron Goldstein, this was a good ending to a “great season.”

“We started off strong by winning our first two races and went on to continue winning,” Goldstein said. “After six fun races, we ended up winning the DCL ahead of Lincoln-Sudbury by a good margin.”

Goldstein said that the biggest race of the season was the final one where they won the DCL.

“Our biggest race was probably the last one of the season, it was a slalom at Nashoba,” Goldstein said.

According to Goldstein, several skiers did well during that race.

“[Junior] Ben Slater, [senior] Will Regan, [junior] Andy Regan and I all ended up finishing in the top 15 and won the race, clinching the DCL,” Goldstein said.

According to Goldstein, the strength of the team will change next year.

“The team won’t be as strong next year, but it will still be good,” Goldstein said, “[It will be] led by Andy Regan and Ben Slater.”
