Duncan Stephenson

Duncan’s College Football Top 4 – Week 3

1. Alabama Crimson Tide

Need I say anything? The ‘Tide are in a league of their own. I don’t see any team capable of beating them.

2. Oklahoma Sooners

Baker. Mayfield. His numbers every week are eye-popping. The defense isn’t elite, but all they need to do most weeks is hold the other team under 40.

3. Oklahoma State Cowboys

The more I watch Mason Rudolph, the more I believe in this team. Their offense is so dangerous. They have a handful of guys that can score any time they touch the ball.

4. Penn State Nittany Lions

Although they played another terrible opponent, this Penn State team is experienced and talented. Barkley is the best RB in the nation. I’d be surprised if they don’t win the Big 10.

Heisman Watch

1. Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma – 1,046 yards, 10 TDs, 0 INTs, 76.8% completion

2. Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State – 1,135 yards, 11 TDs, 1 INT, 72.3% completion

3. Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State – 307 yards rushing (8.1 ypc), 3 TDs, 241 yards receiving (21.9 ypc), 2 TDs

Game of the Week: (16) TCU vs. (6) Oklahoma State – 3:30 PM ET – ESPN

TCU was a trendy sleeper pick in the Big 12 in many preseason magazines, and the Horned Frogs will have a chance to prove their worth this Saturday when they visit the Cowboys. TCU will put up a fight, but Rudolph and the Cowboys explosive offense will be too much for Gary Patterson’s defense.

Prediction: Oklahoma State 41, TCU 27
