Duncan’s College Football Top 4 – Week 13

1. Oklahoma Sooners

The Sooners nab the top spot after ‘Bama falls in the Iron Bowl. As of now, they have to be the favorite to win it all. Mayfield should win the Heisman, and Rodney Anderson has emerged as a threat out of the backfield as both a runner and receiver.

2. Clemson Tigers

I want to put Auburn here, but they lost to Clemson early in the year, so the Tigers from South Carolina get the second spot. Their ACC title game matchup against Miami is essentially a playoff play-in game. Kelly Bryant needs to be more consistent through the air if Clemson is to beat the ‘Canes.

3. Auburn Tigers

They jump Wisconsin after their second win against a top ranked team in three weeks. They do have two losses, but one of those was a one score loss at Clemson. There is no denying that they are the hottest team in the country. They have the best combination of explosive offense and elite defense of any top team. Look out. However, they must defeat Georgia for a second time in order to make the playoff.

4. Wisconsin Badgers

The Badgers took care of Minnesota, and with that they completed an undefeated regular season. Now, they first big test awaits, the Big Ten title game against Ohio State.
