The Wayland varsity girls basketball team looked for revenge as they dialed up Weston in a Senior Night matchup. The girls welcomed the Wildcats to the Field House on Friday, Feb. 15 as they were searching for redemption following their loss in Weston back in December. Junior captain Emma Kiernan was an X-factor for Wayland as she shut down 1,000-point-club member and Weston senior Christine Costa. Senior captain Kate Balicki was also instrumental in the girls’ victory that came out to a score of 50-29. WSPN broadcasted both legs of Friday’s doubleheader, and here are the best highlights from the girls’ victory commentated by Charlie Moore and Max Brande.
