Billy Flynn, played by junior Kaiyung Zhang, struts downstage in his introductory number, "All I Care About is Love." Flynn is the lawyer of Velma Kelley and Roxie Hart, the two main characters. "Billy Flynn is a lawyer who helps people as a defense attorney, but he doesn't really care who he helps as long as he gets money,” Zhang said.
WHSTE performed a run-through of the fall musical, Chicago, for the first time on Sat. Nov. 9, otherwise known as Super Saturday. The company rehearsed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Traditionally, Super Saturday is a chance to run through the show, but also bond with members of the cast. Tickets for Chicago can be bought here.
