Senior captain Abby Gavron poses with her parents as she is celebrated for an extraordinary four years on the team. "[My favorite part of senior night] was seeing all the decorations and posters the juniors made. It meant so much that they did that," Gavron said. "Also, beating Weston was a great feeling, especially on senior night."
The Wayland girls varsity soccer team defeated the Weston Wildcats 3-1, on Oct. 3. This was a particularly special game because it was senior night for the Wayland Warriors. Before the game, the seniors were honored with flowers, certificates and photos with their families. After the ceremony, the players took the field, resulting in Wayland taking the victory.
