Due to their exceptional scores and applications from the Massachusetts 2020 All-State competition, three WHS musicians have been selected for the All-Eastern ensembles. Students are selected from the top All-State participants from the National Association for Music Education Eastern Division, competing against students from multiple states along with European contestants.

Because they were selected, the three students participated in a virtual festival from Thursday, March 4 to Saturday, March 6, 2021. The recordings will be premiered on Friday, April 23 as part of the Eastern Division Conference.

WHS junior Joshua Zhang was selected from the WHS band, and junior Angela Yan along with senior Mingle Li will be representing the WHS orchestra in the ensemble.
