Football prevails over Waltham in a season opening scrimmage
March 26, 2021
On Saturday, March 6, the Wayland football team crushed Waltham during a pre-season scrimmage on the Warrior’s home turf. The Warriors worked out in the weight room and practiced on the turf for months, leading up to the start of their games. The strong chemistry and routes on offense drove the Warriors to score touchdowns, while their defense stayed tight and locked down the Waltham offense.

"The exterior is still a nice monument to remember buildings [involved in] water history," Hoey said. "We all drink lots of water, and it's such an important resource that we kind of take for granted nowadays."](https://waylandstudentpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/IMG_2024-1200x800.jpg)
