Due to rising COVID-19 cases in Wayland and surrounding communities, the DCL announced that they are limiting spectators at winter sporting events to two per athlete.

Due to the large increase of COVID-19 cases in Wayland and surrounding towns, Wayland Athletic Director Heath Rollins announced in an email that a maximum of two family members per athlete will be allowed at athletic competitions. Rollins added that this was not just a Wayland policy, but a rule for all Dual Country League members.

“The policy applies to home and away contests and may be more restrictive at some venues,” Rollins said.

The email stated that the policy will continue to be reviewed as time passes. For now, the two spectators per athlete will have to sign in before entering a sporting event.

If you wish to watch a game that you cannot attend, WayCAM will live broadcast most sporting events at Wayland High School.
