The Class of 2023 Executive board has begun the annual junior class tradition of a Christmas tree pickup. The fundraiser began on Tuesday, Dec. 28 and Thursday, Dec. 30, and it will continue until Saturday, Jan. 8.
The Class of 2023 informed residents about the fundraiser by sending a form to those who have utilized the service in the past. Residents can notify students when and where their trees should be picked up.
The fundraiser will take place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Trees will be brought in cars or trucks to the Wayland Transfer Station. Proceeds will go towards supporting the Class of 2023.
“Picking up all the trees has been a bit of an ordeal, but I’m really excited because we’ve raised more than $2000 from this fundraiser,” Class of 2023 President Prashanth Subbiah said.

"The exterior is still a nice monument to remember buildings [involved in] water history," Hoey said.
