On Tuesday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 8, freshmen will take the biology Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) exam. MCAS testing will occur during the first three blocks of each day in the history wing, meaning all history classes scheduled to take place during the MCAS testing period will be relocated.

Because of MCAS testing, advisory will not meet on Tuesday (G day). Also, the period rotation will run in a different order: one, four, three, seven, eight and five.

During the first three blocks on Wednesday (H day), freshmen will be taking MCAS and juniors will be participating in Career Day. During Career Day, juniors will meet with professionals during three separate sessions, and regular classes for juniors will not be held for the first three blocks of the day.

“If you have any questions about the week ahead, please ask an administrator or counselor,” Principal Allyson Mizoguchi wrote in an email to students.
