The Yankee Lighting Workshop is located on 213 West Plain Street in Wayland, and the business began over 50 years ago. Whether it be a hockey stick or a tree branch, the employees at the shop can turn almost anything into a lamp.

I’d like to give recognition to the student journalists, technicians and assistants that produced the video segment about my new shop, The Yankee Lighting Workshop. I just saw it for the first time and I am amazed at the quality of the finished product. I am certainly impressed with all the effort that went into the production. In sharing it with my friends and family, the response has been incredibly positive. Emily, Delia and Ryan were great. Outgoing, confident and fun too. I felt they were truly interested in the story. It was a pleasure to be interviewed by these future successful professionals.

The Sweeney brothers are fantastic. So happy to see Scott reopen at a new Wayland location – here’s to hoping the business lasts another 50 years!
