The boys varsity cross country team and captain junior Arya Samaratunga ran at the MIAA Meet of Champions on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Willard Park in Devens. The races were divided into three divisions based on school size. The course was five kilometers long which is about 3.1 miles.

Cross country wraps up its season at the state championship

Before crossing the finish line and becoming state champion in the division I race, a Westford Academy (WA) runner extends his arm out pointing to the fans. The WA runner ran the course, which was 3.1 miles long, in 15 minutes and six seconds.
