Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

Wayland-Watertown boys hockey defeat Lexington in home opener

The Wayland-Watertown boys hockey team, the Raiders, played their first regular season game against Lexington High School on Dec. 13, winning 5-1. The game was played at the John A. Ryan Arena in Watertown. The Raiders play in the Middlesex League against many Division I and II teams despite being in Division III.
