News:
Guest Writer Joey Fay wrote about WHS juniors implementing a new sidewalk in Wayland.
“On Wednesday, Dec. 6, a ribbon cutting ceremony took place for the new, mile-long sidewalk that extends from the intersection of State Route 27 and State Route 126 to Wayland’s Town Building and State Route 20,” Fay wrote.
Features:
Staff Reporters Jillian Mele and Elyssa Grillo produced an article on WayTutors. WSPN’s Jenny Shine and Staff Reporter Annika Martins wrote about the WHS JSU club.
Meanwhile, WSPN’s Bella Schreiber and Aimee Smith spotlighted Wayland Free Public Library’s Raytheon room. Staff Reporter Olivia Green wrote about Allison Webber, a local bird rehabilitator.
Sports:
Staff Reporter Edge Wheeler wrote about the Wayland-Watertown boys ice hockey team skating into their season. Staff Reporter Sofia Cicarelli produced an article on ESPN’s Fantasy Sports app. Meanwhile, WSPN’s Sasha Libenzon, Martins and Shine wrote about Bubba FC kicking off its season.
A&E:
WSPN’s Chloe Zilembo reviewed the Snowport holiday market.
“Snowport is Boston’s outdoor holiday market located in the Seaport,” Zilembo wrote. “It consists of over 120 vendors and their small businesses, which range from everywhere from food to jewelry.”
