Nordic ski team competes in its first league race

On Tuesday, Jan. 9, the nordic ski team traveled to Weston Ski Track to compete against six different towns in the Mass Bay West league. Because there hasn’t been much snow this winter, this was the first race of the season. Captain senior Amy McCormack finished fourth and junior Naomi Rice finished eighth in the girls race. In the boys race, there were also two top ten finishes, with captain seniors Daniel Narvaez and Jake Newton finishing in fifth and ninth place, respectively.
