Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. This year, the WHS student council decided to implement a "color blast" event in place of the traditional dodgeball tournament. "I think that in the long run, a lot of students are going to get excited about it," Student Council advisor William Wolven said.
