Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. In the charity game for the Kids to Kids Foundation, the Wayland Warriors girls’ soccer team faced off against the Lynnfield Pioneers. Sophomore Michaela Moynihan scored the first goal midway through the first half. Her sister, senior Maeve Moynihan, scored in the second half to seal the Warriors 2-0 victory.
