Wayland boys varsity volleyball won the opening playoff game against Pioneer Charter School of Science with a 3-0 sweep on Saturday May 30, kicking off the championship season. The game was a chance for the usual lineup to be mixed around and for players to challenge their flexibility with positions.

With the 2011-2012 school year coming to a close, WHS students and faculty are getting ready for their vacation. If you find yourself out of ideas for what to do this summer, WSPN has some suggestions for how to spend the months of July and August.
