25 Days of Cookies: Swirl Cookies

Kruti recommends trying these Swirl Cookies to get in the holiday spirit.
Seasons greetings! Every year, one of my friends makes cute holiday gift baskets filled with every type of cookie imaginable. There are cookies with people’s faces drawn with icing and amazing peanut butter cookies with a delectable Hershey’s Kiss in the center, but my favorite cookie is by far the Swirl Cookie.

Some years, I help my friend make these baskets, and I get to gift some of them to others as well. The warm and fuzzy feeling of giving is definitely a great addition to the holiday season. And, eating a few of these cookies won’t hurt either. This is my favorite recipe because not only can you make some Swirl Cookies, but you can also make a Ribbon Cookie. Same concept, different shape. Enjoy, and happy holidays!
