Molly O’Driscoll, Sophomore

Do you drink any form of caffeine throughout the day?

Yes, I drink coffee.

Where do you get it from?

If it’s from my home, it’s usually just Nantucket blend from a Keurig. If it is from Dunkin’ Donuts, it’s usually just a regular iced coffee. If it’s from Starbucks, it is usually a caramel macchiato.

Do you think it helps your performance in school?

Definitely. It definitely keeps me awake, because there are some days where you just don’t want to get up, and you just don’t want to do anything, so coffee definitely helps with that.

How much coffee do you consume throughout the day?

Usually a cup or two.

No, because caffeine is really bad for your heart, very addictive like a drug, and just bad for you medically. I don’t need it because I’m already a very energetic person.

I’ve never had coffee. When I was a kid my parents told me it would stunt my growth, which now I know is not true, but that’s why I didn’t drink it as a kid. I see a lot of people that are dependent on it, and I never want to be one of those people.

No, I feel that I’m fine without drinking coffee. I’ve found that if I eat right, and keep myself energized then I will be fine.
