On this episode of Flavor!, Julia Pak shares her recipe for carrot cake.

Cake
1 ½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups shredded carrots

Cream Cheese Frosting
½ package (4 oz) cream cheese
⅛ cup butter
2 teaspoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Steps
1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. Grease bottom and sides of one 13×9-inch pan.
3. In a large bowl, mix granulated sugar, oil and eggs Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla and the salt. Stir in carrots.
4. Pour into pan.
5. Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
6. Cool rectangle in pan on cooling rack.
7. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, butter, milk and vanilla. Gradually mix in powdered sugar
8. Frost
