First session of new professional development days to take place

School will let out extra early at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 as a result of the first implementation of professional development days at WHS.

School will let out at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 due to the first session of professional development days at WHS. Principal Allyson Mizoguchi released the special bell schedule, which will follow an E day block rotation, in an email to the school:

Block 1: 8:35-9:08 a.m.

Block 2: 9:13-9:46 a.m.
-
Block 3: 9:51-10:24 a.m.
-
Block 4: 10:29-11:01 a.m.
-
Block 5:11:06-11:38 a.m.
-
Block 6:11:43 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Lunch will not be served. This is the first of “early-early release days” in a set of four or five Wednesday sessions that will be parsed out across the year.
The following Thursday, the school will run an extended, 25-minute Advisory schedule and also feature picture day for underclassmen.
