Senior Cas Ross and sophomore Sammy Janoff dance the Charleston during “Nowadays,” the final number in WHSTE’s ‘Chicago.’ Choreographer Gabrielle Orcha used a Charleston in almost all dance numbers because it was popularized in the 1920s by flappers. Orcha believes time period dances created authenticity in the show. To see the the full gallery of the show, click here.
