Senior musicians find a new way to perform during quarantine
The seniors of the WHS band gathered separately from their homes to play Sir Edward Elgar’s “Pomp and Circumstance” In doing so, they found a new way to make music together amidst the pandemic.

Although the class of 2020 will lack a traditional commencement ceremony for their graduation, they will not lack the traditional musical accompaniment. WHS Band Director Joseph Oneshuck, in collaboration with the graduating class of band members have put together a virtual rendition of Sir Edward Elger’s “Pomp and Circumstance,” a song that has become a hallmark of the classic American graduation ceremony.
