Wayland Football practices despite the pushback of their season

Kaitlyn Mabe and Kate Clifford

Due to COVID-19, Wayland’s football season has been moved to February due to guidelines. Although the team won’t be able to start playing games until February, they are well into practices. The football team is permitted to run practices as long as there is no tackling and everyone wears a mask. The team has made the best of their situation by running these practices, which mostly consist of conditioning drills and preparing for the season.
