Boys basketball defeated by Newton South

The Wayland boys basketball team faced Newton South on Friday, Feb. 12. at the Warrior home court. After four long quarters, the Warriors were unable to take the lead, and Newton South pulled away with a final score of 68-48.

Junior Dana Fisher goes for the foul shot as his teammates watch in silence. "I feel for the short amount of time [our season had], we brought the team together," Fisher said. "However, having a traditional season would have made this team gel like no other."
