WHS finds joy in reuniting after 411 days apart (video)
April 27, 2021
On Tuesday, April 27, Wayland High School transitioned to full-time in-person learning after their week-long April break. This transition comes after spending just over six months in a hybrid learning model where students were broken into cohorts and would attend school in person two days a week. WHS has not been fully in-person since March 12, 2020, making it 411 days since students shared the halls with their entire grade.

"The exterior is still a nice monument to remember buildings [involved in] water history," Hoey said. "We all drink lots of water, and it's such an important resource that we kind of take for granted nowadays."](https://waylandstudentpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/IMG_2024-1200x800.jpg)
