Achievements:
Constantine is a four year varsity softball player. She was voted captain for her junior year, and is currently a captain for this softball season. Constantine has been a starter and a large contributor since her freshman year. Although the team doesn’t have many recognized achievements, “the record of our team doesn’t reflect the work we put into the sport each day,” Constantine said.

Sports Idol:
Constantine’s idol is Jennie Finch. She was the one who showed her what softball was all about. She led the Olympic team to the gold medal games multiple times. “Softball wasn’t very popular until then. She changed the name of the game and put softball on the map,” Constantine said.

Favorite memory:
Constantine’s favorite memory was during her junior year when she had the game winning RBI to beat Weston in extra innings. “Everyone on the team contributed in some way,” Constantine said. To top it off, it was also her birthday.

Quote:
“I’ve been playing this sport since I could walk. I grew up around baseball/softball so it’s basically a way of life for me. I can’t imagine not playing and getting to play with awesome teammates for the past four years makes it that much better,” Constantine said.
