News:
Editor Selena Liu and Staff Reporter Vanessa Taxiarchis produced an article about the Eliza J. Norton community celebration.
“On Sunday, Oct. 1, the Eliza J. Norton Foundation organized a community celebration on the Cochituate Ball Fields to honor Eliza’s life,” Liu and Taxiarchis wrote. “The event took place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and offered various free activities including face painting, hair dying stations, bouncy houses and food trucks.”
Features:
WSPN’s Jennifer Shine and Staff Reporter Annika Martins wrote about WHS Best Buddies club in the “WSPN Goes Clubbing” column. Editor Kally Proctor and Staff Reporter Ainsley Jay produced an article about the WHS robotic team’s Carriage House demonstration.
A&E:
Staff Reporters Melina Barris and Elyssa Grillo wrote about the top 10 Halloween movies to watch. WSPN’s Mischa Lee and Grillo compared high end and drugstore makeup. Meanwhile, Staff Reporters Carolina Sdoia, Bowen Morrison and Ben Jackson produced a video to meet the freshman.
Meanwhile, Staff Reporter Sophia Verma reviewed Steeples and Satellites‘ recent concert. WSPN’s Abby Raftery, Staff Reporters Jane Tardif and Barris produced a Halloween candy crossword puzzle.
Opinion:
WSPN’s Jeffery Zhang wrote about video games not being as fun as they used to be. Meanwhile, WSPN’s Kally Proctor wrote about Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy being ousted from office.
