In the weekly series, “In Case You Missed It,” News Editor Selena Liu summarizes stories from the past week with links to the corresponding WSPN article.

Features:
WSPN’s Jeffery Zhang produced an article on student athletes managing both sports and grades. Staff Reporters Tasha Janoff and Tardif wrote about Eric Daddario’s presentation on mental health.
Meanwhile, Co-Editor-in-Chiefs Talia Macchi and Nadya Chase wrote about Mark Liddell’s presentation on the n-word. WSPN’s Abby Raftery and Staff Reporter Fiona Peltonen produced an article on Wayland Cares’ presentation on stereotypes.
Opinion:
WSPN’s Bella Schreiber shared her opinions on Jo Koy ruining the Golden Globes.
“All in all, it was a terrible monologue, completely to the fault of his jokes and his delivery,” Schreiber wrote. “Nobody else’s. His jokes were weak, not thought out and some were not delivered properly so the audience could truly understand the joke. Koy, I expected better.”
A&E:
Staff Reporters Oliva Green and Peltonen spotlighted admirable artists. WSPN’s Aimee Smith and Staff Reporter filmed Honors Dramatic Arts’ staged readings.
Multimedia:
WSPN’s Selena Liu, Chloe Zilembo and Sasha Libenzon and Staff Reporter Jane Tardif spotlighted the Saxonville Burrito Company. Staff Reporter Edge Wheeler and Liu produced a video on the Honors Wind Ensemble and Sinfonia Orchestra’s performance. Staff Reporters Carolina Sdoia and Alex Evangelista and WSPN’s Tina Su photographed the Green Team and Sewing Club’s slow fashion show.
Meanwhile, WSPN’s Kally Proctor, Emma Zocco and Su highlighted the works of the WHS Genius Bar. Staff Reporter Sofia Ciciarelli and Schreiber filmed the Hypnotist Show.
Podcast:
Staff Reporters Elyssa Grillo and Jessi Dretler reviewed the movie, “Anyone But You.”
