The first group of adults runs into the cold water during the seventh annual ice plunge for Elodie Kubik. Some wore swim caps in pink, which is Elodies favorite color. Some also wore caps that said Plunge for Elodie.

From Wednesday, March 27 to Friday, April 12, the Wayland High School Student Corps is collecting books to donate to prisoners. Students can donate their books at a box located outside of the main office.

Boys basketball eeks out a win over Weston on senior night

On Wednesday, Feb. 14, the girls and boys varsity basketball teams held their senior nights in the dome against Weston. The boys team played first at 5:00 p.m. and took down the Wildcats with a final score of 50-47. The girls played at 7:30 p.m. and capped off the night with a big 72-30 point win.

In front of the Grout-Heard House Museum is a promotive display for the exhibit. We tried represent different time periods, exhibit organizer Elisa Scola said. So we have the Barbie Dreamhouse outside trying to capitalize on the Barbie moment were having.

The team goes down in their pre-game huddle right before they start. I think the team did very well working together and using the advantages we got throughout the game to help score more and more, sophomore Sophia Beckett said.

On Jan. 16 the Wayland wrestling team hosted Wellesley, Beverly and Greater Lowell for a quad meet. Waylands overall record was 0-3 at this time.
