News Brief: Student Council officer results and upcoming elections

On Thursday, March 7, the Wayland High School Student Council announced the officer and representative positions for the Class of 2025. The officer and representative positions for the Class of 2025 were uncontested.

The results for the Student Council officer positions are as follows:

President: Venezia Sebastianelli

Vice President: Luke DiPietro-Froio

Secretary: Sofia DiCarlo

Treasurer: Jahdaya Franklin

The results for the Class of 2025 representatives are as follows:

  • Isa Fuentes
  • Imani Hall
  • Michael Keenan

There will still be elections for the Class of 2026 and Class of 2027 Student Council representatives, and voting for these positions will take place during all three lunches on Thursday, March 21.

The candidates for the Class of 2026 are as follows:

  • Ryan Chase
  • Noah Goldstein
  • Nathan Hartunian
  • Kalena Imura

The candidates for the Class of 2027 are as follows:

  • Anya Bayazitov
  • Caroline Kiernan
  • Derek Liu
  • Rhea Sethi
  • Willa Suratt
  • Cordia Wang
  • Emily Wyner
