Katya Luzarraga, Class of 2024, is a third year reporter and staff managing editor for WSPN. She plays for the girls varsity tennis team and is a member of Student Advocacy Committee club. She is also a peer mentor at WHS and head of WSPN club. Outside of school, she loves to take walks with her dog, discover new books and spend time with friends.
![On Thursday, Nov. 23, Thanksgiving morning, the Wayland High School Warriors (7-3) will take on Weston High School’s Wildcats (3-6) at 10 a.m. on Wayland High School’s turf.

![Earlier this month, WHS students auditioned for the highly selective Eastern Senior Districts ensembles. These ensembles allow high school students to improve their own musical ability and to play with other accomplished musicians as well. I really like watching the district rehearsals, WHS band director Joe Oneschuk said. You get to see the whole creative process happen.
