- Location: Proctor Field, Weston High School.
This week, the annual Wayland vs Weston Powderpuff game is taking place at Weston High School. Powderpuff is a flag football game, an ongoing tradition put on by seniors and parents. Last year, there was some controversy surrounding the game, making it not a school sanctioned event. Powderpuff is still unsanctioned by Wayland High School.
Thursday, Nov. 27:
- Football vs Weston.
- Time: 10:00 a.m..
- Location: Wayland High School Turf.
- Senior night for Wayland.
Wayland will take on Weston at the annual Thanksgiving game to continue the long-standing rivalry. Last year, Wayland defeated Weston 35-0 to cap off their 9-2 season. This year, Wayland enters the game with a record of 3-7, and they are on a two game winning streak. Weston enters this game with a record of 6-2.
