Warrior Weekly: A new year

Harry is taking over Warrior Weekly and is laying out his ground rules for everything sports.

Hello WSPN readers,

As many of you may know, Andrew has graduated from Wayland High School and is now attending Clark University. But do not worry; Warrior Weekly is back for another year of sports recap and analysis.

Hi, my name is Harry Falber, and I will be taking over here at Warrior Weekly. Just like last year, this is the place to come for information on sports here at Wayland High School, with a bit of professional sports thrown in.

I am a huge sports fan. I will talk, or in most cases argue, with anyone when it comes to sports. My favorite sports teams are (in this order) the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins.

Each sports fan has his or her own opinions, so in my first post I have decided that I will share my opinions of major sports arguments so you can get to know me a bit better. If you disagree, feel free to voice your opinions below in the comments section or come talk to me.

Should there be a designated hitter in baseball?
I don’t believe there should be a DH. Both the National League and the American League should have the same rules. That is the way all the other major sports leagues work.

LeBron or Jordan?
Not even close. Michael Jordan beats LeBron for now. If LeBron wins a few more championships, I may change my mind.

Should College football players be paid?
No, most of them have scholarships anyway.

Should Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame?
Yes. They were two of the best players of their times. Also, these two players were great before they allegedly decided to use steroids, which also brings me to my next point: Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame.

Who is the top NFL quarterback of all time?
For me it is Peyton Manning. This answer may surprise most people. Manning has played in 11 Pro Bowls in his 13 seasons. He has also won four MVP awards and has been in two Super Bowls, winning one.

Be on the lookout for this year’s fall sports preview, and make sure you check all of Wayland High School’s sports scores and schedules at Warrior Scores.

How can Peyton Manning be your top QB? All time includes before you were born Falber. How is Manning better than Unitas or Montana?

I agree with most of your points, but not the steroids one. I say if you are found to be taking or have taken them, you shouldn't be allowed in the hall of fame at all.
